This is the prettiest market I saw in Asia. But apparently it’s mostly for tourists and practically nobody actually shops there. Fair enough, the boats are floating in the middle of the canal and I have no idea how you would reach your bananas from the banks 10 meters away… Still looks epic though.
Painted on location and printed directly from my sketchbook on museum-grade archival paper, in off-white and uncoated:
