Size

There are 216 enormous faces carved in the stone towers of the temple of Bayon in Cambodia. They either represent Buddha, or King Jayavarman’s face. They forgot to write it down when they built the temple 700 years ago, so now no one knows which one it is. I painted it in the late afternoon, which gave the faces beautiful yellow and purple tones.

Painted on location and printed directly from my sketchbook on museum-grade archival paper, in off-white and uncoated:

  • Weight: matte 250 gsm (110 lb)
  • Sizes: A4 (21x29.7cm) and A3 (29.7x42cm). For larger sizes, please reach out via the website's contact form or on instagram.
  • Sustainability: FSC-certified paper.
  • Acid-Free: pH above 7 to prevent yellowing over time.
